Centre for Tissue Engineering
The Centre for Tissue Engineering serves the South African public through tissue recovery, and processing. Each year, the Centre provides more than 15 000 tissue allografts to hospitals and clinics across South Africa for transplantation. Thousands of South Africans receive life enhancing bone transplants to heal skeletal afflictions resulting from trauma, disease and age.
